Matisse in Vancouver

Matisse, I love Matisse.
Lets go to Vancouver and catch the exhibit before it closes! and off we went.

What a treat! Two sisters in the early 20th century, Etta and Claribel Cone fell in love with Matisse and his work and acquired many of his paintings and drawings. The Large Reclining Nude was there to enjoy along the many sketches and studies that led to the painting.  My favorite one of all times The Goldfish Bowl was left to be desired.
