Poetic Spring

Spring   the sensuous season    the return of the birds    

their happy singing and aerial showings   

the rebirth of apple and cherry blossoms  lilacs  laburnum. 

In the studio, I watch the fig leaves growing and growing, soon the figs . . . 

in the meantime, new paintings for Small Gesture 2, 

a fundraiser at Iron Oxide this week end.

January

A new year a new painting, it's cold and snowing in most of the country, not here, not yet, not outside. In the studio, 'Neiges'.
