Poetic Spring

Spring   the sensuous season    the return of the birds    
their happy singing and aerial showings   
the rebirth of apple and cherry blossoms  lilacs  laburnum. 
In the studio, I watch the fig leaves growing and growing, soon the figs . . . 
in the meantime, new paintings for Small Gesture 2, 
a fundraiser at Iron Oxide this week end.

I am also working on samples of scenic work, brick walls, slabs of white and black marble, various wood finishes.  There will be pictures of them soon. Till then, enjoy the renewed poetic pleasures of Spring!
